SPANKIE MAKES WAR ON 6MUSIC
East Anglia’s musical invasion of the airwaves continued apace today, as Sudbury lad James Spankie and Bury St Edmunds native She Makes War (aka singer-songwriter Laura Kidd) appeared as special guests on Tom Robinson’s BBC 6music show.
She Makes War was special guest on the show, chatting with Tom about her DIY antics and musical past as bassist for Bury bands Billion Dollar Brain and Miss Black America, while James Spankie performed live session versions of his songs Anchor and Destination.
The new single by Cambridge’s Wild Hope was also featured on the show.

James Spankie’s second EP is available right now on iTunes and on lovely white vinyl through his website.  She Makes War’s new album Little Battles is released in April and you can find out more here.
